There may be some important questions in the mind of people related to Nazool e Quran. What was the state of the revelation of the Qur’an? How did Jibreel Amin use to come to Holy Prophet (PBUH) with the word of Allah from Bargah Yazdi and Loh Mahfooz? How he used to convey it to Holy Prophet (PBUH). Was brought in writing.
Scholars have described two forms of this:
No. 1: Jibreel Amin first takes this word from Allah Almighty inwardly and spiritually and then takes it down to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and recites it to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
NO 2: The Qur’an is reflected before the eyes of Jibreel Amin and he memorizes it and then conveys it to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The revelation was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in Makkah and in Madinah and in other places besides Makkah and Madinah. At home and sometimes in someone else’s house and sometimes on the bed of Umm Al-Mumineen Hazrat Ayesha Siddique.
Whenever revelation came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), you would feel a state of hardship and pressure on your nerves due to your weight, as the Qur’an itself testifies:
We will soon send down on you a heavy decree.
The hadeeth of Ibadatha ibn Harith (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
When the revelation (Nazool e quran)was revealed to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the color of his blessed face would change.
According to various traditions, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) rode on a camel and in this state the revelation began to descend on him, the camel would sit down with the weight of revelation.
Zayd ibn Sabit (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to come and his thigh was placed on my thigh that the revelation began to descend. As the crumbs will crumble.
Umm Al-Mumineen Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that Harith bin Hisham asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
How does revelation come to you? The Holy Prophet (sws) said:
“Sometimes it sounds like a bell, it weighs heavier on me when it breaks I understand and remember it, and sometimes an angel comes to me in the form of a man and talks to me. I remember what he said.
